The Pattern Stitch is called:
HEXAGON
Using any color chain 19. Work 1 sc into 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc into each ch to end, turn. 18 sc.
Next Row: 1 ch, 1 sc into each sc to end, turn.
Repeat the last row, at the same time increasing 1 st, by working 2 sts into 1 st, at each end of next and every alternate row until there are 38sc. Work 1 row.
Decreasing 1 st, by working 2 sts together, at each end of next and every alternate row until 18sc remain. Work 1 row. Fasten off.
To finish, work 1 row of firm sc all round edge of hexagon. Over sew hexagons together.
